RealSelf’s House of Modern Beauty (HoMB) was a series of nationwide experiential activations that brought medical aesthetics to life. Part boutique, part gallery, part spa, each two-day showcase invited visitors to discover top local providers and experience complimentary treatments—from facial lasers and injectables to body contouring and beyond.
These immersive events not only expanded RealSelf’s social reach and engagement, but also proved the power of a scalable marketing channel that built lasting affinity among consumers and partners alike.

Hosted in high-profile locations like New York City, Seattle, and Austin during SXSW, each HoMB event elevated brand recognition and introduced new audiences to RealSelf in a curated, welcoming space. Execution came with consistent challenges, as venues were active office buildings requiring after-hours build-outs and removals without leaving
a trace. Detailed, at-scale site plans ensured precision and brand consistency across markets, enabling RealSelf to transform nontraditional spaces into immersive experiences—on time, on brand, and without disruption.
