For the 10th anniversary of the Science Fiction + Fantasy Short Film Festival (SFFSFF), I spearheaded a redesign of the program logo and identity in celebration of this important milestone. Expanded to four days of special event screenings, in addition to the classic festival, the design approach allowed the new mark to take the visual lead across a wide range of promotional and event-related materials. Carefully curated photographs of everyday scenes, cropped and reoriented to suggest fantastical and otherworldly environments, serve as dramatic backdrops in the visual programming.
