The Founders Award is an annual fundraising event and concert at the museum that raises money to support youth education and outreach programs offered by the institution. In my first year as a designer for EMP, I was charged with art direction and design of all print, digital and event collateral for the gala that honored blues guitarist legend Buddy Guy.

Inspired by the iconic polka dotted guitar synonymous with the blues legend, the overarching design approach utilized these shapes throughout campaign materials, from pre-event engagement to the evening's environmental scheme and aesthetic.
